Short attacks on GRZ continued this morning. GRZ no longer meet the Alpha 20 Holds Filter. A recommended 11 % trailing stop would have been taken out the stock yesterday.

A new criteria of no single day % lost of more than 11% will be added to the Alpha 20 Holds Filter.

Wow, Silver starts joining the parade.

GRZ has intraday reversal and still make the filter at the end of the day. I think it probably still okay. AG does that end of Feb and go higher first time. 2nd time around it did not work.

Yesterday INs (GPL, CLUB, MDW) were screened in using the TOP 30 Alpha Trap. The TOP 30 Alpha Trap picked up many great plays but also a lot of premature plays that failed immediately and plays that passed their prime (like GRZ). It was considered the day before to screen in new entries using best Barchart.com Signals on TOP 100 Alphas. Another possibility is to using new entries to the TOP 20 Signal Alphas Trap, which performed twice as good as the TOP 30 Alpha Trap. For the time being, selection will be made either using new entries to TOP 20 Signal Trap or directly screened in based on best Barchart.com Singals on TOP 100 Alphas stocks.

CSII and PHC do not meet the Aroom Osc > 5 requirement today. The Aroom Osc >5 criteria is dropped today and additional time is given to these two plays to work themselves out. See new discussion on filter.

IN: TWIN, LAD, GTLS

HNH, HS, CVi, ZAGG have bearish engulfing pattern friday. INTX and OME still good with the Filter but are being replaced with stronger plays.

17 of TOP 30 Alpha Stocks passed the filter this weekend. Until there is a better way to deterime the number of stock to hold, it will be the number of TOP 30 Alpha Stock passed the filter but not more tha 20.

PRIFIT ALERT: TWIN

TWIN has a bearish harami pattern yesterday. It is important for it to start flying, otherwise it is susceptible to profit taking. Stock with profit alert should have a stop at 1% below prior day low to protect profit.

Criteria that no bearish reversal pattern for past 5 day is dropped. A secondary filter named Profit Alert Filer is added that included checking on bearish reversal patterns. See discussion on filters.
