Small caps, tech and financials are outperforming as well as basic materials and commodities. I read that as bullish.

I should note also divergences between some of the indexes is rather extreme right now...These kind of non-confirmations should warrant some scrutiny...

Chaikin Money Flow is a price and volume weighted oscillator, featured on Stockcharts...It's a best-of-breed third generation product.

I find that while keeping an eye on volume is a good practice, alone it is a poor indicator of market direction. It needs to be combined with other indicators. While volume is not great at the moment, the setup is for higher prices at this time. In fact, a big volume up day will probably be one of the indications of a top as shorts and sideline longs pile on and buy the top.

Not familiar with that CMF indicator. Can you explain that?
