I would like to introduce The DIEM Team to The Bull Bear. The DIEM team is a group of industry veterans with a focus in such markets as financials, agricultural products and options.

The DIEM strategy is to hold and manage a diversified position of short options, with the goal of time decay in our favor. The DIEM Team uses a number of stringent criteria for trade selection, the most important being that options are relatively “expensive”. The DIEM team has developed three types of DIEM recommendations: Aggressive I and II and Capped-Risk.

• Aggressive I trades typically have little or no initial bias on direction. Because of this, they are more “balanced” and tend to be smaller positions that tie up less funds.

• Aggressive II has more of a modest initial bias on direction. They will require more adjustments over time. Offsetting this need for greater oversight is that more premium is collected and positions tend to be larger.

• Capped-Risk trades are the “traditional” DIEM recommendations that have an absolute limit on the risk. The positions are options spreads –what the DIEM Strategy refers to as “combos”. These combos collect option premium by selling calls and puts, similar to DIEM Aggressive trade recommendations, but they also buy farther away options – the “wings” of the spread – which cap the risk.

The DIEM team sends out a weekly newsletter to update the customers of new trade recommendations, updates on current positions and a look into current market conditions.

So feel free to post comments on their news letter posting, that I intend to post a portion of each week. And thank you Steven for giving us a platform to share all of the ideas out there.

BEST Regards,
Josh Reitz
